FAITH MOLESTER

The Faith Molester is up to no good! When the hot new Hard Rock Band the Burn and Cry needed a no holds bar music video to kick off their debut album Rust was happy to oblige. Anthony Cupo worked with the band to bring their vision to life in the form of “Faith Molester” look for it here and on their Myspace page later this month.

MACALLAN “1995” VIGNETTE

Rust was joined by SoHo Inc. to create and bring to life a multi city presentation and scotch tasting for Macallan Scotch. Highlighting their brand using videos that reminded the tasters of what happened in the year their scotch was bottled was just one task. Rust also produced the audiovisual aspects of the presentation and assisted in the overall event production. Because of the success of these, Macallan will be adding more tours in the future, look for us in your city!

AFTER SCHOOL ALL STARS

BEST* Company asks RUST to edit a highlight reel to promote an after-school program that teaches music to LA students. After showing the video, board members decide to expand the program to all 16 schools in the district. ROCK ON!

FEARnet “BLOOD RED EARTH”

FearNet is dedicated to providing horror content to the masses. They hired Rust’s production crew to hit the road and film the behind the scenes action on Red Earth, a short film to be featured on the channel. Interviewing the cast and crew, Rust was able to create dynamic stories that show viewers some of the challenges the filmmakers had trying to complete the mini film. In addition to shooting the footage Rust created a graphic open and packaging for each of the five behind the scenes pieces.

FAMILY GUY “BLUE HARVEST”

To commemorate the new release of the Family Guy movie- Blue Harvest MTV held a contest for it’s viewers. The prize was a trip to LA and a table read with the Family Guy cast and creator Seth MacFarlane. Rust was able to create a funny promo that incorporated the feel of Star Wars with the Non sequitur humor of Family Guy.

MACALLAN TASTING TOUR

Rust has been partnered with Soho experiential to create a unique tasting experience of Macallan Premium Scotch. Creating a branding plan for the event as well as an interactive presentation, Rust Lab has successfully executed over 20 events in the past 4 years.

SPIKETV “MANSWERS”

When Men Have questions, SpikeTV gives answers, and when SpikeTV needs promos for their new trivia fact show, they came to Rust. Using show footage and stylized graphics Rust created several promos to inform viewers of the Manswers show launch.

SPIKEtv “WHAT THE F&#K!”

SpikeTV kicked this year off with a programming block on Friday Nights to highlight all the crazy clips that are shown on TV. Rust stepped in to bring this night to a new level. By creating graphics, editing clips and writing commentary for a unique top ten countdown each week Rust was able to help SpikeTV market this time slot to it’s target demographic.

FEARnet “NEW FEARS DAY” PROMO

Fearnet wanted to scare away your hangover with a New Years Days Movie Marathon, They came to rust to get our help in getting people hyped for it. Rust developed promos for the event as well as intros for the movies that were running on a live stream that day.

Incorporating stop motion animation and motion graphics brought this spot together to get kids excited about back to school shopping at JC Penny for MTV integrated marketing.

Updating a successful show is important to keep it looking fresh. MTV called upon Rust Company’s editors, graphic artists and sound designers to create new packaging for their popular series Made.

MVI FROM WMG.

When WEA released a new DVD Technology called MVI they hired Rust for the look and feel of the launch presentation. Rust created several video demos to both explain and promote the new disk technology with web integration. Look for MVI disks in stores near you.

MTV “ROB AND BIG” VIRGIN MOBILE

This spot cross-marketed Virgin Mobile’s SLICE phone and the premier season of MTV’s ‘Rob and Big’.

MTV “RUSH HOUR 3″

Using hilarious footage from interviews with Jackie Chan and Chris Rock was an enjoyable job that Rust undertook while creating this promo for the MTV Sneak Peak of Rush Hour 3. Recreating the Eiffel Tower and incorporating it into the spot was an exciting challenge.

SPIKETV “SEAGAL VS VAN DAMME”

When the time came to showcase the ultimate showdown between two of the world’s greatest tough guys, SpikeTV knew to hire Rust. Understanding how serious this was, Rust created bobble head characters of each of the titans and put them in a 3-d boxing ring to battle to the death. Using After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut; Rust was able to bring the anticipation to life.

GREAT SAFETY ADVENTURE

11th Hour Productions asked RUST for help in bringing to life a dog and his flashlight for a educational children’s program. The program tours elementary schools teaching children about fire safety. RUST animated the characters and recorded the voices for this piece.

TENACIOUS D “PICK OF DESTINY” SNEAK PEEK

In this episode of MTV’s popular preview show, RUST focused on ‘The Pick of Destiny’ movie poster for inspiration. From that and source clips from the film, RUST was able to make packaging and promo material that was both funny and able to keep the viewer’s direction on the show.

MTV’s Sneak Peek gives its viewers a chance to preview the hottest upcoming films before they reach the theaters. Each of the Sneak Peek episodes packaging is unique for it reflects the look and feel of the film it represents. Saw III is no different, as we journey into the darker side of a mad man’s workshop. Rust Company created the show’s customized Open, Bumpers and promos Spots.

ADIDAS “SKATEBOARD”

This exciting spot was co-directed by our own Jamie Manalio! It was created for MTV’s integrated marketing department and features ADIDAS’ worldwide release of their new shoes the ‘ST.

MTV & AMP’D MOBILE

Amp’d Mobile and MTV Integrated Marketing wanted to give viewers an opportunity to view footage of their favorite bands on their cell phone. RUST has was hired to design a creative way to bring the two together. Using MAYA and some serious sound design. The awesome power of a concert is re-created to highlight Amp-d mobile’s latest phone model. Rock On!!!
